Tagging in 6DEGREES
Tags in 6DEGREES let you mark people or companies as trusted or not using a private thumbs up or down. This article explains how to add, change, remove, and view your tags as part of building your personal Trust Network.
A tag is a thumbs up or a thumbs down within 6DEGREES. Tags help you build your Trust Network and are reminders to yourself later of what your opinion or experiences with that person or company is.
Tagging is PRIVATE to you only - no one else can see your tags or see the number of users who have a person or company tagged as positive or negative. In future, we will be give you the option to make your 6DEGREES public and shareable with friends or colleagues but the default option when this is released will still be PRIVATE ONLY.

Changing a tag
Changing a tag from positive -> negative or negative -> positive is just as easy! Click on a node to expand the menu, then click the opposite tag of what you had before. Let's see an example where we go from a positive rating, to a negative one:
Removing a tag
Removing a tag is as easy as adding them or changing them. Simply expand the menu by clicking on the node, then click on the same rating. This will remove the tag and turn it back to neutral. Let's check out an example below:
If you're viewing the tag from My 6DEGREES and you remove the tag, the node will instantly vanish from your graph. To get it back, either add a tag again by searching for that node or (only if it is a company) add it to your watchlist.
